Our Favorite Picture Books for March: St. Patrick's Day, Rain and Rainbows

March is a month that is very exciting to me because it means a big seasonal change is coming. Usually I start off loving winter. I find it magical and beautiful, but then something happens after December. I tire of it quickly and soon find it dreary and gloomy. When March comes, that usually means a lot of rainy days, and rainy days mean that the snow disappears and that Spring is on its way. I love it! In fact, even outside of March I almost always love a rainy day. Maybe it’s the notion that I can possibly spend it indoors curled up next to the fireplace with a good book. What’s not to love about that?!

Anyhow, that is why our March book selection is a combination of St. Patrick’s Day books, books about rain, and books about rainbows. We don’t own a lot of our favorite St. Patricks Day titles yet, but we are slowly building our collection and love borrowing them from the library in the meantime. We included those titles on our list below and hope that you enjoy them as much as we do!
