The Robin and the Fir Tree by Jason Jameson- Every time I read this story I forget how incredibly sad it is. However, I love how this retelling puts a hopeful twist on the story with the robin friend and the illustrations are also incredible.
The Snowflake by Benji Davies- In this sweet and sentimental story a young child gets a small christmas tree and is delighted when a large and special snowflake lands on top to be the “star”.
Where’s Waldo? Santa Spotlight Search by Martin Handford- Waldo will always have a place in my heart and this spotlight, Christmas edition is extra fun.
Carla and the Christmas Cornbread by Carla Hall and Cherise Harris- I adore this story about the love between grandmother and grandchild and the magic of food bringing us together for the holidays.
Happy Narwhalidays (A Narwhal and Jelly Book 5) by Ben Clanton- This new addition to a beloved series has us thrilled. It has all the festive cheer you would hope for and all the charm of one our favorite, silly duos.
Merry Christmas, Anne (Anne of Green Gables) by Kallie George and Geneviève Godbout- Avonlea fans rejoice! This gorgeous book features a holiday story where Anne must be brave for a recital.
The Toys’ Christmas by Claire Clément and Genevieve Godbout- In this sweet story a group of toys head out on Christmas Eve with the important mission of telling Santa what their child wants for Christmas.
Michael Hague’s Treasury of Christmas Carols: Deluxe Edition illustrations by Michael Hague – This book is a gorgeous, collectors edition of four popular Christmas Carols (O Christmas Tree, Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas) alongside charming and cozy illustrations by Michael Hauge. The Wishing Tree by Meika Hashimoto and Xindi Yan- The sweet story about a boy and how his Christmas wish comes true. There is even special paper included in the back for you to write down your own wish to put on a wish tree!
Santa Mouse, Where Are You? (A Santa Mouse Book) by Michael Brown and Elfrieda De Witt- A brand new edition of a beloved favorite. We couldn’t possibly love Santa Mouse any more over here!
Board Books
Snowman’s Adventure (Secrets of the Season) Jennie Bradley- This board book has the really fun feature of a snowman that is built layer upon layer with the turn of each page. Love!
Santa’s Journey (Secrets of the Season) Jennie Bradley- This board book has a similar feature as the one in Snowman’s Adventure (listed above) where Santa is built layer upon layer. Super fun idea and so well done.
