Whether you are here for bunny books because you are looking for an Easter basket stuffer for you child or because you simply love these fluffy animals, you have come to the right place. Each one of these books features bunnies and ranges from the hilarious and imaginative to the sweetest little stories you’ve ever read. While they are perfect for Easter, none of them are specifically Easter themed. (If Easter themed books are what you are after check out this post here.). These books are excellent all year round and I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

“My Funny Bunny” by Christine Roussey- In this story a little boy receives a pet bunny and is very upset about it at first. However, he reels in his spiraling emotions and soon discovers that having a bunny may, in fact, be the best thing ever.
“Pepper and Frannie” by Catherine Lazar Odell- This is a story of friendship between two bunnies that have very different personalities and interests, but that doesn’t stop them from enjoying a time together and it doesn’t stop their friendship from blossoming.
Hundred Feet Tall by Benjamin Scheuer and Jemima Williams- The text in this book is also a song, so it would be fun to sign along too! It features a bunny family planting and nurturing a seed and then watching it grow. It’s such a lovely metaphor for things that thrive when we care for them.
“The Little Rabbit” by Nicola Killen- In this story a magical breeze comes and brings a little girl’s stuffed bunny to life. The two of them have a playful and adventurous day together and it is so sweet.
“Wish” by Chris Saunders- This sweet story is all about a bunny who uses it’s wishes to make it’s friends’ dreams come true. Then in the end he discovers that the rewards of doing so benefit him as well and that acts of generosity enrich the life of the giver just like they do the receiver.
“Bunny Days” by Tao Nyeu- I adore this one! It is a simple, yet sweet, collection of three super short “stories” that feature the most adorable and playful bunnies. It’s seriously overflowing in cuteness.
“Dear Bunny…” by Blanca Gomez and Katie Cotton- This story features a young girl and her stuffed bunny. It’s basically a love letter to this bunny friend and how grateful she is for their companionship. It’s darling.
“Big Bunny” by Rowboat Watkins- This one is hilarious! It is a story with two narrators that don’t quite see eye-to-eye on how an imaginative story about a monstrous bunny should go. It definitely makes a fun read-aloud too!
“Bunny Slopes” and “Hungry Bunny” by Claudia Rueda- If you love interactive books like “Press Here” and “Tap the Tree” then this book is for you! You “help” a bunny collect apples for apple pie and it is so engaging and delightful.
“Bunny Roo, I Love You” by Melissa Marr and Teagan White- This book couldn’t be any more precious. It is a book that is basically one giant affirmations of love that is perfect for parents to share with children.
“Guess How Much I Love You” by Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram- This book is a classic for a reason. It is such a precious way to express your love for your child and the two bunnies are memorable.
“Charlotte the Scientist is Squished” by Camille Andros and Brianne Farley- In this story Charlotte, a budding scientist, needs a little space to conduct her science experiments. Through the scientific process and a little imagination she finds the perfect solution.
“The Golden Egg” by Margaret Wise Brown and Leonard Weisgard- I loved this one as a child and I love it still! It features a bunny who cares for an egg and when it hatches a new friend is waiting inside.
“My Very Own Space” by Pippa Goodhart and Rebecca Crane- This little bunny comes from a very large bunny family and wants it’s very own space to get a little reading done. The color palette is simply dreaming and the bunnies couldn’t be more adorable.
“Rabbit Magic” by Meg McLaren- In this lighthearted and playful book a bunny learns that teamwork is the way to go and being the “star of the show” isn’t very rewarding when you are all alone. Definitely a fun one.
