A while back I shared a “new-to-us” company (Put Me in the Story) that we fell in love with that personalizes picture books by letting you add your child’s name in the book, their photo, and a small dedication. “Love is All Around” is an adorable and sentimental book that expresses the truth to your child that no matter where they go, love is not only all around them, but they are always loved. One of my favorite ways to express love to my kids is through a book so I especially loved the concept of this one. The beginning starts by pointing out examples of what love is and how your child can look for it all around them. Examples mentioned are a child that comforts another child who is sad, parents playing at the park with their kids, and even the flowers all around that show the world’s love. It is such a positive message and the fact that it is sprinkled throughout with your child’s name and even mentions your child’s city a couple times makes it even more special.

I was so excited to share it with my little guy! After it was emailed to me I downloaded it and read it with him. My favorite part was how his face lit-up every time he spotted his name or photo. He is headed to preschool this Fall, but we have been working on his name here at home so he can already write and spell it. It’s kind of a current obsession of his and for a very good reason. Names are kind of a big deal. I have a sneaking hunch that this book will be on repeat for awhile. No complaints here!
