Ingredients
- 1 box of 2 pre made pie crusts
- 1 jar of prepared mincemeat filling, 27 ounces (I used fruit mincemeat)
- powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit and using nonstick cooking spray, grease your muffin tin.
- Flour a flat baking surface and roll out your pre-made pie crusts. Then, using a 4 inch round fluted cutter cut the bottom crusts of your mini pies. Place them in the bottoms of your muffin tin. They will crinkle and fold a bit when they go in. That is okay.
- Using a spoon, fill each "pie crust cup" with pre-made mincemeat filling. Fill them until they are just about full.
- Using the remaining pie crust dough, cut out small stars and place them on top of your mini mincemeat pies as a top crust.
- Place on the bottom rack of your oven and bake for 30 minutes until the crusts are slightly golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
