I am absolutely loving the current trent of picture book biographies hitting shelves right now. There are so many fantastic stories being told about so many incredible people and we are being inspired right and left by them all. I hope that this new trend proves not to be a trend at all, but a new direction that picture books will continue to travel.
This list is all about amazing men that have made a positive impact in the world. I feel so lucky to be able to share books like these with my son and daughter. I know that they can be inspired by the lives they led and that they can find their accomplishments and perserverence empowering. I know that I do!
I usually post a small write-up of books on my lists, but I am not going to with this list because I think it will wind-up being quite a long list (I plan to keep adding to it as I discover new favorites so the list will keep growing.) and the topic of each book is clear as it is a biography of the man featured. That doesn’t mean that I am randomly adding books to this list. I have read each one and honestly enjoy and recommend them. Check back often to see which ones have been added and I hope you and your kiddos find a new hero to be inspired by.
